Welcome William Everett Foster!

Our very good friends, Matt & Emily Foster welcomed a baby boy on March 24th, 2008. He was a big boy at 8 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long. Mom and baby are home and doing great! Claire has been fascinated by Baby William. I was hesitant to let Claire hold him but Matt insisted and I am glad he did!


Matt & Emily have been our friends from college. In fact, Matt introduced me to Wade and Wade introduced Emily to Matt. They are a Navy couple as well and we have been lucky enough to have them with us in Monterey, CA and Rhode Island. They have been our second family and our little taste of home. But now, the Fosters will be moving to Hawaii in a month and the Smiths to Virginia. They will be missed!!
