We had a nice long weekend thanks to President's Day and optional house hunting leave they gave to everyone at Wade's school. We didn't really do too much, just hung out and enjoyed the warm indoors!
Claire has had a bad rash for the past few weeks so we took her to the doctor today. It turned out to be JUST eczema. I say it like that because it takes a lot of stuff to get rid of it. We had to get a special cream, new soap, lotion, detergent and new cotton pjs. Apparently the polyester ones we put her in to keep her warm just make her itch more! We have put away all of the "banned" items now. We also have to change the way we bathe her now that we know she has sensitive skin. No warm bubble baths for Claire anymore!
Another downside of the doctor's visit was she fell while we were waiting for our RX, hit her lip and it became pretty swollen. Of course, we had pictures scheduled for the afternoon. It worked out though, because since we couldn't do our pictures, it gave us plenty of time to go shopping for eczema stuff!
We also went to Stride Rite shoes today and got some new shoes for Claire, which is always fun. Here is a video of her playing with the box!
